What is the goal of the internALIZation (in psychology) Internalization is the brain's UNCONSCIOUS process of making EXTERNAL rules, beliefs, and behaviors into INTERNALLY guided motivations.
What are the five stages of internalization? External → IntraJECtion → identification/rationalization → intraGAtion → Intrinsic.
1)What is EXternal Regulation? the motivation is someone or something
2)What is IntroJECtion? Doing something because you'd feel "wrong, bad or funny" if you didn't(voice in your head)
3)What is identification/rationalization? Doing something because you actually understand why it matters and why its worth following
4)What is IntraGAtion Doing something because it has become part of who you are and your value hierarchy and conscience
5What is Intrinsic Motivation? Doing something because you genuinely enjoy doing it or some sort of bliss factor
