Endo- Within, inside. Ex. Endoscopy

Anterior or ventral Toward the front of the body. Ex. Anterior chest pain
Posterior or dorsal Toward the back of the body. Ex. Posterior spinal fusion
Superior Above, toward the head. Ex. Superior Vena Cava
