LESSON 5. FORCES

QuestionAnswer
Force a push or a pull acting on an object. example: when we push a chair, pull a door open, kick a ball or lift a backpack
Contact Force occurs when two objects physically touch each other to interact
Non-contact Force act over a distance without physical touch
Friction acts in the opposite direction of an object' s motion or attempted motion slows down or stops moving objects
Gravity pulls objects toward the Earth acts on objects whether they are moving or at rest
