LESSON 6. MOTION

QuestionAnswer
Reference Point A declared place or object used as a baseline or anchor to determine if something is in motion. often designated as position 0 on a map or coordinate system
Position The specific location of an object relative to that chosen reference point.
Motion the change in the position of an object If the position changes → Moving If the position stays the same → At Rest
Movement Movement tells us whether an object changes its position.
Speed Tells us how fast or slow an object is
Direction Tells us where an object is moving
