Why are you calling me? I’m calling regarding a healthcare benefit that’s available through your Humana Medicare plan. Once I verify I’m speaking with the correct person, I’d be happy to explain how it works.
How did you get my number? Humana provided us with your contact information so we can reach out regarding healthcare benefits available through your plan

Why are you calling instead of my doctor? That’s a great question. Your primary care doctor is still the center of your healthcare. Our role is different—we’re the outreach team that helps members learn about and access this healthcare benefit. We work alongside your doctor, not instead of them.
Why do I need this? The purpose of the visit is to help you stay up to date on your preventive care. You’ll have the opportunity to speak with a L.P from home, ask questions, review your overall health, and make sure you’re receiving any recommended preventive care. If every

What’s the benefit? The biggest benefits are convenience, reviewing your preventive care from home, getting your health questions answered, and helping coordinate your care with your primary doctor.
What’s the point? The goal is to help keep you healthy. Sometimes everything is already up to date, and the provider simply confirms that. If something needs attention, they’ll help guide you on the next steps
I already have a primary doctor That’s wonderful, and we encourage members to have a primary care doctor. This visit isn’t meant to replace your PCP—it works alongside them by reviewing your preventive care and coordinating recommendations when appropriate.
