Tpack Model

What does TPACK stand for? Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge.
What is the purpose of the TPACK model? To help teachers effectively integrate technology, teaching methods, and subject matter knowledge.
What does CK stand for? Content Knowledge—the teacher’s knowledge of the subject being taught.
Content Knowledge—the teacher’s knowledge of the subject being taught. Pedagogical Knowledge—the teacher’s knowledge of teaching methods and instructional strategies.
What does TK stand for? echnological Knowledge—the teacher’s knowledge of how to use technology and digital tools.
What is PCK? Pedagogical Content Knowledge—the ability to teach specific subject matter effectively.
What is TCK? Technological Content Knowledge—understanding how technology can be used to represent and teach specific content.
What is TPK? Technological Pedagogical Knowledge—understanding how technology can support teaching methods and instructional strategies.
What is TPACK? The combination of technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge used to create effective technology-integrated instruction.
Give an example of TPACK in an 8th grade science classroom. A teacher uses a digital simulation to help students investigate sound waves while using inquiry-based instruction to guide students in developing explanations based on evidence.
