What does Intrusive symptoms in Criterion B stand for? Persistent re-experiencing of the event through nightmares, flashbacks, or intrusive memories
What does Criterion C stand for? Avoidance
What are avoidance symptoms in criterion C? Avoiding thoughts, feelings, or external reminders associated with the trauma
what is Criterion D stand for ? Negative Mood or Cognition

What does EIANADFE stand for? Exposure, Intrusion, Avoidance, negative mood or cognition, arousal and reactivity, duration, functional significance, Exclusion.
What is exclusion? The disturbance is not caused by medication, substance use, or another medical illness
What new category of the DSM-5 was PTSD is included ? Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders. All of the conditions included in this classification require exposure to a traumatic or stressful event as a diagnostic criterion.
What is Criterion A? Stressor - The person was exposed to: death, threatened death, actual or threatened serious injury, or actual or threatened sexual violence, in the following way.

It often feels like being an outside observer of your own life or living in a dream - it is part of the dissociative specifier in the two specifiers of dissociative and delayed specification.
What are Derealization symptoms and what is it as part of the PTSD dx? Feeling like the surrounding world is unreal, fake, distant, or mechanically distorted - it is part of the dissociative specifier in the two specifiers of dissociative and delayed specification.
what is the second specifier in the PTSD Dx? Delayed Specification - Full diagnostic criteria are not met until at least six months after the trauma(s), although onset of symptoms may occur immediately.
