Commutative property states that for any numbers a and b, the product is a times b and is equal to the product of b times a
Least common multiple (LCM) he least multiple that two or more numbers have in common
Unit fraction a fraction that has a numerator of 1 and a denominator that is a positive integer
Equivalent fraction fractions that represent the same part-to-whole relationship
Benchmark fraction are common fractions you can use to estimate the value of fractions
Algorithm a process or description of steps you can follow to complete a mathematical calculation
Positive rational number a number you can write in the form of a/b where a and b are both whole numbers greater than zero
Reciprocal is one of a pair of numbers whose product is 1
Multiplicative inverse of the number a/b is the number b/a
Complex fraction a fraction that has a fraction in either the numerator, the denominator, or both
