What happens when algae dies? Takes oxygen from the water
What is in the Gulf of Mexico because of nitrates? A dead zone where there are no fish
What is a flyaway? The route birds follow when they migrate
Where is the largest flyaway in North America? Above the Mississippi River
Why do birds like to use waterways for flyaways? No mountains to climb Wetlands for food and nesting
What can fish contain? Mercury
How do fish get mercury in their systems? From power plants making coal and oil Smoke
