Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas, a gland located behind the stomach that helps with digestion and blood sugar regulation.
Thyroidectomy thyroidectomy is a surgical procedure to remove all or part of the thyroid gland
Hypoglycemia hypoglycemia is a condition in which the blood sugar (glucose) level becomes abnormally low, typically below 70 mg/dL.
Ketosis ketosis is a metabolic state in which the body burns fat for energy instead of carbohydrates
Adrenarche adrenarche is a normal stage of development during childhood when the adrenal glands begin producing increased amounts of weak sex hormones called androgens
Leukemia leukemia is a type of cancer that affects the blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and lymphatic system, causing the body to produce abnormal white blood cells.
Tonsillectomy a surgical procedure to remove the tonsils, which are two small masses of lymphatic tissue located at the back of the throat
Immunoglobulin is a protein produced by the immune system (antibodies) that helps identify and neutralize harmful substances such as bacteria, viruses, and toxins
Hemophilia is a genetic bleeding disorder in which the blood does not clot properly due to a deficiency or absence of certain clotting factors
Petechia is a small, pinpoint red, purple, or brown spot on the skin or mucous membranes caused by tiny bleeding blood vessels (capillaries) beneath the surface.
Cardiac arrest is a sudden loss of heart function that occurs when the heart unexpectedly stops beating effectively, causing blood flow to the brain and other vital organs to stop
Arrhythmia is a disorder of the heart's rhythm in which the heart beats too fast, too slow, or irregularly
Aortalgia is pain originating from or associated with the aorta, the body's largest artery, which carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body
Phlebalgia is pain in a vein
Myocardium is the thick muscular middle layer of the heart wall responsible for contracting and pumping blood throughout the body
