| ARFF | Aircraft Emergency |
| ARFF Stand by | Aircraft stand-by. |
| HIJACK | Hijacked aircraft. |
| ALERT 1 | Declared in-flight emergency with minor difficulties. oil light or something minor that normally would not cause a crash |
| ALERT 2 | Declared in-flight emergency with less than 9 passengers. an aircraft malfunction that is likely to cause a crash such as a stuck landing gear or engine failure |
| ALERT 2A | Declared in-flight emergency with 9 or more passengers. |
| ALERT 3 | Crash on airport property with less than 9 passengers. |
| ALERT 3A | Crash on airport property with 9 or more passengers. |
| ALERT 3/3A OFF AIRPORT | Crash off international airport property. |
| ALARMFIRE | Fire Alarm |
| CO | Any report of CO alarm by private citizen or alarm company. |
| COMMERCIAL | Report of a commercial fire alarm of a commercial building (not high hazard). |
| HIGHHZRD | Report of fire alarm in a highly populated building (apartment, school, hospital etc.). |
| RESIDENTIAL | Any report of a fire alarm by citizen or alarm company in a residence. |
| TEST/DRILL | Any report of a fire alarm test or drill (must get call back name/number and end time). |
| Commercial Alarm Cancel Request | Do NOT advise truck to disregard. Advise they can downgrade at discretion; AFD must verify clear. |
| CITZNASSIST | Citizen Assist. Unusual requests from citizens for fire assistance approved by fire supervisor. |
| CONFNDSP/SC | Confined Space. Person trapped in confined space or structure collapse not due to fire. (Trenches, small spaces not meant for continuous occupancy) |
| ELECTRICAL | Electrical Hazard. Wires down, arcing of powerlines/poles/transformers, or blown/arcing transformer. |
| ELEVTR/ESCL | Elevator / Escalator Rescue. Escalator entrapment, elevator accident/stall, or other malfunction. |
| EXPLOSION | Explosion. Any report of explosion (known/unknown origin) or large fuel load vehicle explosion. |
| EXTRIC/ENTRP | Extrication / Entrapped. Any report of a person trapped in machinery. |
| FUELSPIL/ODR | Any spill of fuel including diesel, fuel oil, gasoline or jet fuel. |
| GASLEAK/ODR | Any report of a gas leak or gas odor (natural and LP gas). |
| HZMT | Any report of uncontained hazardous materials, spill containing hazmat, chemical suicide, or abandoned waste. |
| HIGHANGLE | Any evacuation requiring specialized equipment due to angle/terrain, above or below grade. |
| LIGHTNGSTRKE | Any report of lightning striking a building, vehicle, or person. |
| ODOR | Any report of suspicious odor (inside or outside) that is not electrical, gas, fuel, sulfur, or smoke. |
| OUTSIDEFIRE | Any reported fire not a structure or directly adjacent to one (e.g., trash, trees, grills). |
| SMOKEINVEST | Any report of smoke or the odor of smoke seen or smelled outside with an unknown source. |
| STRUCFIRE | Structure Fire. Smoke or flames inside a structure, or a fire extinguished by a caller. |
| TRAINCOLL | Train and Rail Collision / Derailment. Collision/derailment off rail yard, or on rail yard if requested by BNSF. |
| VEHICLEFIRE | Vehicle Fire. Any report of a vehicle on fire, including inside a free-standing parking garage. |
| WATERRESCUE | Water Rescue. Person/vehicle trapped or sinking in moving/non-moving floodwaters or body of water. |
| SUSPICIOUS | Suspicious Package / Explosives. Any report of a suspicious package, unconfirmed explosives, or suspected bomb. |
| TRAINFIRE | Train and Rail Fire. Train fire not involving a collision, or on rail yard property if requested by BNSF. |
