4.NBT.3 Vocab Rounding

Rounding The process of replacing a number with an approximate value
Round Up When the digit to the right of the digit you are rounding to is 5 or more (5, 6, 7, 8, 9), you increase the digit by one.
Round Down When the digit to the right of the place you are rounding to is less than 5 (0, 1, 2, 3, 4), the digit stays exactly the same.
Round to the Nearest... The specific place value you are targeting to round (e.g., nearest ten, hundred, thousand, etc.).
