Balance Authority

QuestionAnswer
BAAL (Balancing Authority ACE Limit) if exceeded must be back within limits in no more than 30 minutes
DCS (Disturbance Control Standard) Return Return ACE in no longer than 15 minutes after loss of generation
Contingency Reserves restored in 90 minutes after the Disturbance recovery period. In other words, from the start of the loss of generation 105 minutes from the initial loss to recover reserves.
If ACE is not calculating for more than 30 minutes call the RC
Sink BA is responsible for what? submitting an Interchange Tag, and is responsible for the approval process
