Define cell: A cell is the basic unit of life. All living organisms are made up of cells.
Define nucleus: The control center in a cell, hold genetic information for DNA.
Define Mitochondria: The Mitochondria is a powerhouse in a cell and produces energy: Cellular Resperation occurs in this organelle.
Define Chloroplast: Organelle which captures sunlight for photosynthesis occurs, only plant cells have this organelle.
Define Cell Membrane: Controls what enters and leaves a cell.
Define Photosynthesis: The process where plants make there own food from sunlight.
Define Cellular Resperation: Occurs in the Mitochondria and gives energy to a cell.
Define Genotype: The Genetic "Makeup" of a organism.
Define Phenotype: The physical traits of an organism.
what is Natural Selection? When a trait of an organism adapts to their environment so they can survive and reproduce.
Define GMO: When a organism gets there DNA genetically modified using technology.
Define Fossil: A preserved remain or trace of an organism. The organism can be extict or still living.
What is a food web? Is a complex food chain in one diagram. It shows the flow of energy in a ecosystem.
Define Producer: A organism that creates its own food.
Define Consumer: A organism that eats the producer for food and energy.
What is flight or fight response? Your body's stress response to certain situations.
