How does changing the resistance change the current? Greater resistance means harder it is for charge to flow through the component
What does a variable resistor do? Changes amount of resistance of component, changing amount of current that flows in circuit
Equation linking volts with resistance? V=IR
Why is the net resistance increased with 2 resisters in a series circuit? Total resistance is the sum of the resistance in each component
Why is the net resistance decreased with 2 resisters in a parallel circuit? Total resistance= 1/R1 + 1/R2 = 1/R
In a series circuit how do we work out resistance? V=IR or add the resistance
