Forces and their Effects

How can objects interact by contact? Normal contact force that acts between all touching objects or friction
Give an example of a non contact force. (Gravitational) Gravitational attraction between the Earth and the Sun caused by their gravitational fields interacting
Give an example of a non contact force (magnetic) Interacting magnetic fields cause attraction or repulsion between magnetic objects
What are vector arrows? They show the forces 2 objects exert on each other (equal and opposite)
Give 3 examples of vector quantities. Velocity, Force, Acceleration
Give 3 examples of Scalar quantities. Distance, Temperature, Mass
How do we find the resultant force? Subtract opposite and add parallel
Let's say 1 arrow was bigger than the opposite one, what direction would the force act? The bigger arrow
How do we reduce unwanted energy transfer through lubrication? Reduces friction so less heat loss
