Health- Flexibility

| Dynamic Stretching | Stretching that uses controlled movement to gently take joints and muscles through their range of motion. |
| Static Stretching | Stretching in which a position is held for a period of time to lengthen a muscle. |
| Active Stretching | Stretching in which you hold a position using the strength of your own muscles. |
| Passive Stretching | Stretching in which another person, gravity, or a piece of equipment helps hold the stretch. |
| Ballistic Stretching | Stretching that uses bouncing or jerking movements to push a muscle beyond its usual range of motion. |
| PNF Stretching | A partner or assisted stretching method that combines contracting and relaxing muscles to improve flexibility. |
