Frontal Lobe Located at the front of the brain, it governs executive functions, decision-making, personality, voluntary movement, and speech
Parietal Lobe Positioned near the upper back of the head, it processes sensory information like touch, pain, temperature, and spatial awareness
Temporal Lobe Found on the sides of the head near the ears, it is responsible for hearing, language comprehension, memory retrieval, and emotion.
Occipital Lobe Located at the back of the brain, it is dedicated entirely to processing and interpreting visual information from the eyes
Broca's Area Broca's area is a region in the frontal lobe of the brain responsible for speech production and language processing. Damage to this area results in Non-fluent aphasia. People with this can comprehend speech but can't produce fluent speech themselves
Wernicke’s area Wernicke’s area plays a large role in language comprehension. Damage to this area results in fluent aphasia. People with this are able to speak normally but their sentences lack meaningful content or include made-up words
