What was the cold war? A long period of tension between the US and USSR after WW2, but they never fought directly, but in weapons, politics, and global influence.
Define McCarthyism A fear of communism that led to unfair accusations and investigations of many Americans.
Define Containment To contain the spread of communism
Difference in communism and capitalism Capitalism is an economic system where individuals own businesses and compete in a free market, while communism is a system where the gov, owns everything and wealth in equal.

What was the Montgomery Bus Boycott and what did it accomplish? A protest where AA refused to ride segregated buses after Rosa Park's arrest. It ended segregated bus'
