Circulation of Blood through the Heart
| Term | Definition |

| Pulmonary Circulation | Responsible for carrying deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs and back to the heart. |
| Systemic Circulation | Responsible for carrying oxygenated blood from the heart to all parts of the body and back again |
| Coronary Circulation | Responsible for supplying O2 to the heart muscle (Coronary Arteries) |
| Pathway Circulation | Right atrium receives blood from other parts of the body through the superior & inferior vena cava. |
| Coronary Arteries | Branch off the aorta & deliver blood to the heart muscle |
| Cardiac Cycle | Series of events that makeup a heartbeat |
