TermDefinition
Impudent Someone who is bold, shameless, and disrespectful.
Imputed Attributing the cause or source of an outcome to a specific person or situation, such as blame, a quality, or a value
Dud An informal term for something that fails to function, perform, or explode as expected; widely used to describe a broken product.
Prowl To move about quietly, slowly, and stealthily, usually in search of prey, plunder, or something to steal.
Inevitable Something that is certain to happen and cannot be avoided or prevented.
Gluttony The habitual overindulgence or overconsumption of something to the point of waste, harm, or loss of control; most commonly associated with excessive eating or drinking.
Devout Someone who is deeply devoted to a religion, or completely committed and sincere in their dedication to a belief, cause, or activity.
Infinitesimal An extremely small quantity or value that is greater than zero, yet is smaller than any standard measurable limit.
Putrid An adjective describing decaying organic matter that produces a foul, sickening odor. Informally, it can also refer to anything of exceptionally low quality or something morally objectionable.
Entourage A group of attendants, assistants, or associates who travel with and support an important, famous, or wealthy person.
Foretold The past tense and past participle of the verb foretell. It means to predict, prophesy, or describe a future event before it happens.
"Tow the line" Doing what is expected or required of you, even if you do it reluctantly.
Profound Very deep, intense, or requiring great understanding.
