What are the symptoms of Roundworms, Hookworms and Whipworms? Irritation of the gut, weight loss, diarrhea, bloody stools, unthrifty coat, and anemia.
What are the symptoms of Heartworms? Cough, weight loss, exercise intolerance, panting, fainting, edema in legs, kidney failure, liver failure.
What's the main test used to Dx most INTERNAL PARASITES? ELISA test.
What diseases do FLEAS spread? Tularemia and Tapeworms.
What are the most common internal parasites in Reno, NV? Giardia and Cryptosporidium (Crypto).
What are the most common symptoms of Giardia, Crypto, and Coccidia? Diarrhea, mucus in stool, weight loss, poor growth in young, dehydration, reduced appetite, etc.
What diseases do TICKS spread? Lyme Disease, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichia.
What are the 3 common treatments used for Fleas and Ticks? Frontline, Bravecto, and Selamectin.
