What is the purpose of antitrust laws? To promote competition and prevent monopolies.
What does the Sherman Antitrust Act prohibit? Restraints of trade and monopolization.
What is price fixing? Competitors agreeing on prices.
What is a monopoly? When one company dominates a market.
What agency enforces consumer protection laws? The Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Why are administrative agencies created? To regulate and enforce specific laws.
What is an administrative law judge (ALJ)? A judge who hears agency disputes.
