Solubility

QuestionAnswer
What is the definition of a solute? Something which dissolves in a liquid.
What is the definition of a solution? A mixture composed of a liquid and something dissolved in it.
What is the definition of a soluble? Something which can dissolve (in a liquid).
What is the definition of a solvent? The liquid which something is dissolved into.
What is the definition of insoluble? Something which cannot dissolve.
