| crude | lacking manners; showing a lack of tact; offensive |
| vacancy | available room; unoccupied |
| preparation | the action or process of getting ready for a future event or task |
| grimace | a funny or squished-up face you make when you taste something yucky, smell something stinky, or feel pain. |
| thrashing | moving around wildly and without control |
| bureau | a special office or organization that handles certain jobs |
| tolerant | being okay with things being different |
| billowing | to swell, puff out, and roll outward in large waves |
| dense | the color is rich, deep, and super bright. |
| draped | to gently cover or hang something—like a blanket or a piece of fabric—loosely over an object or person |
| motorized | means something uses an engine or motor to move, instead of using human muscles |
| acoustic | having to do with sound or hearing. |
| linger | to stick around or take a long time to leave. |
| fleeting | something that lasts only for a very short time; it passes by so fast that it is gone in just a flash |
| flatly | saying something in a very firm, clear way that leaves no room for questions, or saying something without showing any emotion like excitement. It basically means putting your foot down! |
