| S.M.A.R.T. Goals | Specific - Measurable - Achievable - Realistic - Time-bound |
| Long Term Goal | A goal that will take a long period of time and a lot of work to achieve, such as getting into a good college |
| Short Term Goal | A goal that you can achieve in a short period of time such as scoring a goal in soccer |
| Self-Esteem | How you feel about yourself, whether it's positive or negative |
| Stress | Body's way of responding to demanding situations, can be good or bad |
| Empathy | The ability to understand the feelings, thoughts, and perspectives of another person |
| Values | Things that are important to you |
| Stressors | Anything that causes stress |
| Adrenaline | A hormone that increases the level of sugar and oxygen in the blood, giving your body extra energy |
| Circulatory System | Made up of heart, blood, and blood vessels |
| Nervous System | Where your brain sends and receives info of what's happening in the body and around it |
| Respiratory System | Controls your breathing |
| Skeletal System | Consists of all your bones |
| Muscular System | Consists of all your muscles |
| Digestive System | Helps break down food |
| Immune System | Helps fight off sickness |
| Communicable Disease | A disease you can catch or transfer, contagious |
| Non-Communicable Diease | A disease you can't catch or transfer, not contagious |
| Pathogen | Any organism that can cause disease |
| Bacteria | Tiny, one-celled creatures that get nutrients from their environment to live. Some bacteria are good for the body. |
| Virus | Need to be inside living cells to grow and reproduce. They spread inside their host's body and make them sick. |
| Parasite/Protozoa | One-cell organisms that love moisture and often spread diseases through water. |
| Fungi | Multi-celled, plant-like organisms, but unlike other plants, they can't make their own food. Instead, they get their nutrition from people, animals, and plants. |
