Mastery of the subject matter that is to be taught or learned. This includes facts, concepts, theories, and procedures specific to a given discipline Content Knowledge (CK)
Knowledge about the processes and methods of teaching and learning. This includes understanding how students learn, classroom management, lesson planning, and assessment strategies. Pedagogical Knowledge (PK)
The ability to teach specific content effectively. It blends content knowledge with pedagogical strategies, understanding how to present subject matter in ways that are accessible and engaging to learners. Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK)
Understanding how technology can create new representations and understandings of specific content. It involves knowing how technology and content influence and constrain one another. Technological Content Knowledge (TCK)
Knowledge of how various technologies can support or change teaching and learning methods. It includes understanding how teaching might change when particular technologies are used in particular ways. Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK)
The integration of technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge. It is the basis for effective teaching with technology, requiring an understanding of how all three types of knowledge interact in real teaching situations. Technological Pedgogical Content Knowledge (TPACK)
