What does CPR stand for? Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
What organ pumps blood through the body? The heart.
What is the largest organ in the human body? The skin.
What does a stethoscope help doctors hear? Heart, lung, and body sounds.
What is a pulse? The beat of blood moving through arteries.
What is normal body temperature? About 98.6°F (37°C).
What does an EMT do? Provides emergency medical care before patients reach a hospital.
What are the four main vital signs? Temperature, pulse, breathing rate, and blood pressure.
What is a fracture? A broken bone.
What should you do first if someone is bleeding heavily? Apply direct pressure to the wound.
Why do we breathe? To bring oxygen into the body and remove carbon dioxide.
What does the brain control? Thoughts, movement, senses, and body functions.
What is forensic science? Using science to help solve crimes.
What is a witness? Someone who saw or heard an event.
What is evidence? Information or objects that help prove what happened.
What is a fingerprint? A unique pattern of ridges on a person's fingers.
Why do investigators take photographs of a scene? To preserve details exactly as they were found.
