| stability | the state or quality of being firm, steadfast, and resistant to sudden change |
| speciation | the evolutionary process by which a single population splits into two or more distinct, reproductively isolated groups |
| related | two or more phenomena, variables, or concepts share a verifiable connection, dependency, or common ancestry |
