Thoracic cavity contains 3 smaller cavities: Pleural - Lungs (one per pleural cavity) Mediastinum - Heart, great vessels, esophagus, trachea Perdicardial (smaller cavity of Mediastinum) - Heart
Ventral cavity: Abdominopelvic Abdominal - Stomach, liver, intestines, pancreas, spleen, kidney Pelvic - Urinary bladder, Uterus
