Sentence Translation
Mon école a beaucoup de règles, et je pense qu'ils sont stricts. My school has a lot of rules, and I think they're strict.
Tout d’abord je n’aime pas la règle qu’on ne peut pas utiliser notre portable à l’école. First of all, I don't like the rule that we can't use our cell phones at school.
À cause de la sécurité des enfants, nous aimerions avoir nos téléphones. For the sake of the children's safety, we would like to have our phones.
Par contre, je crois que on devrait respecter les autres. However, I believe we should respect others.
Je pense que c’est necessaires pour encourager la bonne discipline à l’école. I think it's necessary to encourage good discipline at school.
Donc, je suis d'accord pour dire que mon collège et mon lycée sont trop stricts, mais le respect est important. So, I agree that my middle school and high school are too strict, but respect is important.
Le collège et le lycée sont très similaires. Middle school and high school are very similar.
Nous avons des cours d’anglais, de mathématiques, de sciences, et des cours spécialisés. We have courses in English, mathematics, science, and specialized courses.
Ayant dit cela, les règles au collège étaient vraiment différentes. Par exemple on jouait à plus de jeux en classe et les profs nous aidaient plus. Having said that, the rules at school were really different. For example, we played more games in class and the teachers helped us more.
Il était plus facile au collège. It was easier in middle school.
Néanmoins, nous avons plus de liberté pour voler de nos propres ailes au lycée. However, we have more freedom to fly on our own in high school.

Deuxièmement, pour les lycéens français, il y a un concours d’entrée qui va déterminer dans quelle université on pourra aller. Secondly, for French high school students, there is an entrance exam that will determine which university they can go to.
En Australie, vous devez choisir des matières pour un Atar. In Australia, you have to choose materials for an Atar.
Certains disent que c’est vachement plus stressant. Some say it's much more stressful.
Ils ont même des cours le samedi. They even have classes on Saturdays.
En Australie, le week-end est consacré au repos. Dans l’ensemble, je préfère l’école en France. In Australia, the weekend is dedicated to rest. Overall, I prefer school in France.
