Environment Everything surrounding living things, including land, water, air, plants, and animals.
Region An area that has common features like climate, land forms, culture, or vegetation.
Savanna A grassy plain with scattered trees found in warm climates, especially in Africa.
Rain Forest A dense forest with heavy rainfall and many different plants and animals.
Drought A long period with little or no rainfall that causes water shortages.
Deforestation The cutting down and clearing of forests by humans.
Habitat The natural home or environment of a plant or animal.
Conservation The protection and careful use of natural resources and the environment.
Inference A conclusion or educated guess based on observations and evidence.
