| Term | Definition |

| Weather | The forecast that is happening in that present moment. |
| Climate | A trend of weather that is collect from data over time. |
| Landform | A physical geologic feature caused by nature. |
| Environment | A habitat that has many working parts to form a cohesive ecosystem. |
| Region | A specific area. |
| Savanna | An open grassland that can be found in places like Africa. |
| Rainforest | A forest that gets lots of rain, with thick vegetation, and many living organisms. |
| Drought | A time period where there is no forms of water like rain. |
| Deforestation | A system where you cut down a large amount of trees to clear a space. |
| Habitat | A home for living organisms. |
| Conservation | When you hold an organism in a closed space for observation purposes, or so that area is their new home. |
| Inference | A conclusion made based on certain pieces of evidence. |
