Doggedly With determination Synonym- Tenaciously, Determinedly, Stubbornly Antonym- Weakly, Lazily, Half Heartedly I ran doggedly until I reached the finish line.
Conviction Strong belief Synonym- Certainty, Assurance Antonym- Skepticism, Doubt, Uncertantiy I made a statement with conviction because I was sure it would happen.
Racking Extreme physical or mental pain Synonym- Torturous, Agonizing Antonym- Soothing, Comfort I was raking my brain trying to remember his name.
Bewilderment Totally amazed or complexed Synonym- Perplexity, Confusion Antonym- Understanding, Certainty I felt a sense of bewilderment while looking at the stars.
Exploit A memorable or heroic act Synonym- Accomplishment, Achievement He told the class stories about his latest exploits during the class discussion.
Brawn Strong Synonym- Muscular, Physically powerful Antonym- Weak, Gentle The brawn man could bench up to 250 pounds.

Recurring Keeps on happening Synonym- Frequent Antonym- Infrequent The dream was recurring which doesn't usually happen.
Aghast Shocked or horrified Synonym- Stunned, horror-struck Antonym- Calm I was aghast at the kids behavior in my class.
Manslaughter Accidental murder Synonym- Killing The man was charged with manslaughter.
Admiring To look up to Synonym- Applaud or Praise Antonym- Disapproving or mocking I was admiring the person helping pick up someones books.
Radiate Glow Synonym- Emit, Shine, Illuminate Antonym- Soak up absorb The campfire began to radiate a comfortable warmth.
Faltered To show a lack of confidence or strength Synonym- Hesiated, Stumbled Antonym- To show strength, or confidence She faltered while giving a speech to the class.
Jet Pitch black Synonym- Dark Antonym- White or blank The stormtrooper had a jet-lightsaber that he carried around.
Imploringly A plead or request that is urgent or desperate Synonym- Pleadingly Antonym-Issuing an order I looked at my mom imploringly after I asked her to buy me a toy.
Sullenly To act in a gloomy or silent manner Synonym- gloomily or grumpy Antonym- Cheerful or enthusiastic The man spoke in a sullen manner after he had heard bad news from work.
Hue Shade of color Synonym- n/a Antonym- colorless The rainbow showed colorful hues such as yellow, red and blue.
Subside To be less violent Synonym- Lessen or die-down Antonym- Rise , increase or grow His violent feelings began to subside when he layed down.
Elude To avoid Synonym- Escape or dodge Antonym- pursue or encounter I tried to elude my teacher when I knew I hadn't been doing the right thing.
Gallant Brave or Noble Synonym- Courageous, heroic or gentlemen like Antonym- Cowardly or timid The gallant man had no problem leading the group into the cave.
Wistfully Action done with nostalgia or sadness Synonym- longingly or yearlingly Antonym- Happy or cheerful The man buried his dog wistfully while thinking about all the memories they had made together.
