| COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) | This federal law protects children under the age of 13 online by strictly regulating how commercial websites and apps collect, use, and track personal information from young students. |
| NYS EdLaw 2-D | A New York State law mandating a district-approved Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) before sharing any student or staff data. If there is no DPA, inputting information is a violation. |
