| 1st Amendment (5 things) | Freedom of speech, religion, assembly, press, and petition |
| 9th Amendment | More rights than just listed in the constitution (Unenumerated Rights) |
| 3rd Amendment | No quartering of soldiers |
| 6th Amendment | Right to a speedy trial |
| 4th Amendment | Protection against unreasonable search and seizure |
| 8th Amendment | No cruel or unusual punishment |
| 10th Amendment | If a power is listed in the Constitution, it belongs to the federal government. If a power is NOT listed in the Constitution, it belongs to the individual states or directly to the people. (Establishes the principle of federalism) |
| 5th Amendment | The right to remain silent/double jeopardy, right to due process (MIRANDA RIGHTSSSSS) |
| 7th Amendment | Right to a trial by jury in civil cases |
| 2nd Amendment | The right to bear arms |
