1st Amendment (5 things) Freedom of speech, religion, assembly, press, and petition
9th Amendment More rights than just listed in the constitution (Unenumerated Rights)
3rd Amendment No quartering of soldiers
6th Amendment Right to a speedy trial
4th Amendment Protection against unreasonable search and seizure
8th Amendment No cruel or unusual punishment
10th Amendment If a power is listed in the Constitution, it belongs to the federal government. If a power is NOT listed in the Constitution, it belongs to the individual states or directly to the people. (Establishes the principle of federalism)
5th Amendment The right to remain silent/double jeopardy, right to due process (MIRANDA RIGHTSSSSS)
7th Amendment Right to a trial by jury in civil cases
2nd Amendment The right to bear arms
