| First person shooter | a video game genre focused on weapon-based combat, where the player experiences the action directly through the eyes of the character |
| FPS(frames per second) | how many, individual, consecutive images your computer or console produces and displays on the screen every second |
| game screens | the visual interfaces displayed to players, encompassing everything from initial loading, menus, and the Heads-Up Display (HUD) to in-game cinematics |
| genre | a classification system that groups video games based on their core gameplay mechanics, player objectives, and interaction patterns rather than their visual style, setting, or narrative theme. |
| gone gold | signifies that the main development is finished, and the final version is ready for mass production, duplication, and shipping to retailers. |
| grind | the repetitive, often monotonous, action of performing the same tasks—such as killing enemies, gathering resources, or completing quests—to gain experience points (XP), currency, or rare items |
