Action Activates factor XII of the coagulation cascade, accelerating the pathway to clot formation, leading to faster bleeding control
Indications Local management of bleeding wounds such as cuts, lacerations, and abrasions. Temporary treatment of severely bleeding wounds such as traumatic injuries and surgical wounds.
Contraindications Intravascularly
Cautions None.
Onset, peak, duration Onset: Immediate
Iatrogenic Overdose Kaolin does not trigger skin allergies due to its inert (nonreactive) characteristics
