is located in North Africa, stretching across Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan, and Tunisia. Sahara Desert
It is the largest hot desert in the world, spanning an area of about 9.2 million km², roughly the size of the United States. Sahara Desert
is a transitional zone between the Sahara Desert to the north and the tropical savannas to the south, stretching across several countries in Africa. These include Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Sudan, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. Sahel
It has been involved in managing regional conflicts and facilitating economic integration. ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States):
