is located in North Africa, stretching across Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan, and Tunisia. Sahara Desert
It is the largest hot desert in the world, spanning an area of about 9.2 million km², roughly the size of the United States. Sahara Desert
is a transitional zone between the Sahara Desert to the north and the tropical savannas to the south, stretching across several countries in Africa. These include Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Sudan, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. Sahel

A coalition of five Sahelian countries (Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Chad, and Burkina Faso) that works together to tackle terrorism, security, and economic development in the region. G5 Sahel
