| Indications | Chest Pain or atypical symptoms suggestive of cardiac ischemia and myocardial infarction |
| Contraindications | (DAAAP) Dose, Asthma Exacerbation, Allergy, Acute bleed, Paediatric(Unlikely needed for children) |
| Cautions | (PAIDS) Pregnancy, anticoagulants, internal bleeding(recent), disorders bleeding, surgery. |
| Side effects | Respiratory: Wheezing GI: Heartburn, nausea and vomiting ASA has been linked to Reye's syndrome in children with viral symptoms |
| Dosage | 160 mg – 162mg (may top up to this amount within 12 hours) |
