Generic Name: Mebendazole Brand Name: Vermox, Emverm Classification: Anthelmintic Adult dosage: one 100 mg tab once, then a second 100 mg tab recommended 2 - 3 weeks later Indication: Kills, paralyzes, or inhibits the growth of parasitic worms Side effects: chills, cough, hoarseness, dark urine pale skin Contraindications: know hypersensitivity to the drug or other benzimidazole derivatives, and should not be used in pregnant women and children under 2yrs old (under 1 in some protocols

Generic Name: Propranolol hydrochloride Brand Name: Inderal LA, Inderal XL Classification: Antidysrhythmic Adult dosage: take 40mg tab by mouth twice daily for hypertension Indication: Normalize heartbeat in cases of certain cardia arrhythmias Side effects: dizziness, fatigue, cold hand/feet, slow HR Contraindications: asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), severe bradycardia ( slow HR), 2nd or 3rd degree heart block, cardiogenic shock, and severe hypertension

(personalized doseage) Indication: prevent or relieve nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapy Side effects: dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision Contraindications: known hypersensitivity to phenothiazines, comatose states, severe central nervous system (CNS) depression, and children under 2 years of age or under 20 lbs.

Generic Name: Hydrochlorothiazide Brand Name: HydroDIURIL, Microzide Classification: Diuretic Adult dosage: Take one 25mg tablet by mouth daily Indication: increased urine output, reduces blood pressure and cardiac output Side effects: frequent urination, dizziness, headache and low BP Contraindications: anuria (inability to urinate) hypersensitivity to sulfonamides ( sulfa drugs), or known allergy to thiazides
