asset a value that represents something you own
liability the amount of money someone is responsible for
probablility the likelihood of an event happening; expressed as a value ranging from 0 to 1
complement the probability that an event will not occur
experimental probability the ratio of the number of times an event occurs to the number of trials; what actually happens
theoretical probability the probability that an even will occur based on the possible outcomes; what should happen
lateral surface area the surface area of a three dimensional figure excluding the bases
total surface area the total area of the faces and bases of a three dimensional figure
net a two dimensional representation of a three dimensional object
