What does this show about unity in Umuofia? the unity of Mbanta (Umuofia’s neighbor) begins to crack due to the church’s acceptance of osu (outcasts) and the alleged killing of a royal python
What happens when Okonkwo returns to Umuofia? owing an extravagant feast to thank his mother’s kinsmen for their hospitality.
How has the village changed? the arrival of British missionaries and colonial government has broken the traditional social order.
How does Okonkwo react? Okonkwo reacts to the end of his exile with bitterness.
