Nationalisation the government bought several sectors , 1946 the Bank of England was brought under government control in 1947 coal mines and communications were nationalized and in 1949 the government bought the gas and electricity sectors.
how did the economic changes help the economic policy of the labour government was quite effective , it had raised the export levels 75% from from 1938 levels , and the food production was up 20% by 1951 showing the impact of the policy
however economic policy idleness critici was that the workers had little control , it also was taught that the government should have nationalized more profitable sectors , and compensated the coal miners less thy got pad 164 million
