Ecologist Scientists who study ecology
Exotic species Describe species that exist outside of the species normal range because of human activity
introduced species species that exist outside of he species normal range because of human activity
non -native species Species that exist outside of the species normal range
Quadrat A marked off squarer or a rectangle plot of land to determine where to collect there samples
Transect The specific path or area often marked with a rope
Abiotic The non living components in an ecosystem include water temperature and sunlight
Biotic The living components in an ecosystem are the organism
Biodiversity The variety of life at every level from genes to species to ecosystem
Habitat A location in an environment where an organism lives
Invasive introduced species that cause or have ability to cause harm to environment or people
population A group of organism of the some species living in the habitat
Range In ecology the total of all areas where species live
Resource Any factor that can be consumed or used by an organism
