Aorta Largest, carries oxygenated blood away from left ventricle to the body.
Pulmonary veins Carry oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium.
Left atrium Pumps oxygenated blood to left ventricles
Bicuspid valve Opens to pass blood from left atrium to left ventricle.
Aortic valve Opens to pass blood from left ventricle to aorta.
Left Ventricle Thickest chamber, pumps oxygenated blood to body.
Septum Separates right and left sides of heart, keeps oxygenated and deoxygenated separate.
Right ventricle Pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs
Inferior vena cava Delivers deoxygenated blood from lower body to right atrium
Tricuspid valve Opens to pass blood from the right atrium to right ventricle.
Pulmonary valve Opens to pass blood from right ventricle to pulmonary arteries.
Right atrium pumps deoxygenated blood to right ventricle
Pulmonary Arteries Carry's blood from right ventricles to the lungs
Superior vena cava delivers deoxygenated blood from upper body to right atrium.
