| Powers given to the federal government are? | Coin money, set up a postal system, maintain military forces, declare war, regulate interstate and foreign commerce, and negotiate treaties with foreign countries |
| Powers given to both the states and the federal government are? | Guarantee civil rights and liberties, levy and collect taxes, provide for public safety, protect public health, establish courts, punish lawmakers, borrow money, and construct and maintain roads |
