hydrochlorothiazide (microzide) (HCTZ) first-line diuretic, may cause hypokalemia
furosemide loop diuretic, potent "ceiling effect"
bumetanide loop diuretic, 40x more potent than lasix
spironolactone (aldactone) potassium-sparing diuretic, can cause hyperkalemia, gynecomastia
triamterene (dyrenium) potassium-sparing diuretic, often combined w/HCTZ
atorvastatin (lipitor) most prescribed statin, high potency, avoid grapefruit
simvastatin (zocor) statin, take hs, avoid grapefruit
rosuvastatin (crestor) statin, high potency, water-soluble
pravastatin (pravachol) statin, fewer drug interactions
lovastatin (mevacor) statin, take with evening meal, avoid grapefruit
warfarin (coumadin) anticoagulant, avoid vitamin K rich foods, many meds, ABX, NSAIDs, amiodarone

rivaroxaban (xarelto) DOACs, take QD w/evening meal
