Presidential seccession If both the President and the vice president die or leave the office, the 20th amendment gives Congress the power to set the order of presidential seccession.
State of the Union Address Televised speech given once a year, sets for the programs and polices that the president wants congress to put into effect as a law.
Foreign policy The goverments plan for interacting with the other countries of the world.
Diplomacy The art of interacting with foreign goverments.
Treaties Written agreements with other countries.
Reprieve Postpones the carrying out of a persons sentence
Pardon Forgives a person for his or her crime and eliminates their punishment
Secretery The tittle for most cabinet member
Attorney general the head of the department of justice.
Ambassadors Highest ranking U.S. representatives in foreign countries. The offical place where ambassadors live in a foregin country is the embassy.
Consulate a U.S. consel's office.
Passports Documents needed to travel to other countries based on the p the person's citizenship.
Visas Documents which allow other people to come to the U.S.
Joint Chiefs of staff Top millatary officers from each branch of the armed forces that advice the president on military actions and possibllites.
Department of Homeland security Protect the nation from attacks and threats, even natural disasters.
Independent agencies Groups created to help the executive branch.
Bureaucracy Employees of the United States agencies.
