| cone | a three dimensional figure with one circular base connected |
| congruent | having the same measure |
| corresponding angles | angles that are in the same position on two parallel lines in a relation to a transversal |
| cross section | the intersection of a solid and a plane |
| cylinder | a three dimensional figure with two parallel congruent circular bases connected by a curved surface |
| edge | the line segment where two faces of a polyhedron |
| exterior angles | an angle between one side of a polygon and the extension of an adjacent side |
| face | a flat surface of a polyhedron |
| interior angles | an angel inside a polygon |
| line segment | part of a line containing two endpoints and all of the points between them |

| scale | the scale that gives the ratio that compares the measurements of a drawing or model to the measurements of the real object |
| scale drawing | a drawing that is used to represent objects that are too large or too small to be drawn at actual size |
| scale factor | a scale written as a ratio without units in simplest form |
| scale model | a model used to represent objects that are too large or too small to be built at actual size |
| scalene triangle | a triangle having no congruent sides |
| straight angle | an angle that measures exactly 180 |
| supplementary angles | two angles that are supplementary if the sum of their measures is 180 |
| transveral | a line that intersects two or more other lines |
